HeyBerie is an App based Social Dating Service for singles from 18- 35 years of age. Creating an account on HeyBerie can happen through HeyBerie and Facebook to facilitate communications between interested subscribers, permitting subscribers to use swiping functions to select potential matches by swiping UP and Swiping Down on a photo to proceed to the next one.

Once matched, text messaging, audio and video calls can happen by turning on data or Wi-Fi on your smartphone.

Our main objective is to provide a friendly, interactive and safe online dating experience with HeyBerie (the “APP”).

WHY ARE MY MESSAGES NOT GOING THROUGH?

This may be due to internet connection and might be a temporary issue. We would suggest you try logging in at a later time. Just be sure you have a strong internet connection. Please visit HeyBerie on Facebook or @HeyBerie on Twitter for more update.

Note: The age requirement for HeyBerie is 18 years. If you are below this age and you have an account, your account will be disabled but not deleted. You might appear online and you will be able to send messages. This messages may appear as sent but will not be delivered to the receiver.

I AM UNABLE TO FIND MY MATCHES.

This could be a temporary issue. Our suggestion is that you try logging in at a later time. If you are faced with the same issue try to log out and log in again.

Select 'App Settings' or 'Settings,' scroll down to the logout button and hit 'Logout.' After this, log back in. You should be fine as long as you haven't accidentally deleted your account.

Note: Instances where you cannot locate one or two of your matches, this could be because they have either unmatched you or deleted their account.

UNINTENTIONALLY, I MISTAKENLY DOWN -SWIPED) SOMEONE, CAN I BY ANY CHANCE GET THEM BACK?

Press the rewind button. This feature enables subscribers to Rewind their last swipe. Note: This feature is available on HeyBerie App Only. (The HeyBerie App only has the UP, and Down Swipe functions). Up for Yes and Down for No.

I CAN'T LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT.

I CAN'T LOCATE ONE OF MY MATCHES.

This could be owed to two things; it is either the person deleted their account or unmatched you. I suggest you log out and log in back into your account. Then check the top left corner of the screen. Select 'App Settings' or 'Settings,' scroll down to the logout button and hit 'Logout.' After this, log back in.

SIGN UP AND LOG IN

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT ACCEPTED ON HEYBERIE?

The maximum age requirement for HeyBerie is 18 years and over. If you are below this age and you have an account, your account will be disabled. You might appear online and you will be able to send messages.

This messages may appear as sent but will not be delivered to the receiver. Also, in the process, you will be unable to swipe UP and Down.

If you decide to delete your account, simply follow this step. Go to 'Your Settings' and hit 'Delete Account' button. You can please email us at (support@heyberie.com) if you have questions.

I CAN'T LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT.

IS IT NECESSARY THAT HEYBERIE HAS ACCESS TO MY PHOTOS/CAMERA ROLL?

Yes, it is necessary that HeyBerie has access to your photos. This will enable you to easily upload profile photo directly using your smartphone. HeyBerie (the “App”) has super filtering and editing capacity to achieve best photo results for your profile.

MY APP KEEPS CRASHING

This could be a temporary issue and my suggestion is that you try again sometime later. Also, we will suggest you check if there is the latest version of HeyBerie.

Your device could also be the problem, please check if the (OS) operating system on your device is up-to-date. However, if the problem persists, simply follow this step.

Uninstall and reinstall the app, to reinstall, simply uninstall the app from your device and then download HeyBerie (the “APP”) again.

You should be fine if you haven't accidentally deleted your account. Your messages and matches will also be intact.

I WANT TO DELETE MY APP, WILL I LOSE MY MESSAGES AND MATCHES.

Your account enables you to have access to your matches. If you delete the app, as long as your account is not deleted, then your message and matches will be intact even if you delete the app.

I WANT TO EDIT MY AGE; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

You can only change your age by deleting your account and starting all over again.

Note: If you delete your account, you will lose your messages as well as your matches. If you want to proceed, please follow these simple steps.

  • Login to your HeyBerie account.
  • Locate and click on your account settings
  • Locate and click on delete account.
  • Then create a new HeyBerie account.
  • I WANT TO EDIT MY NAME; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

    HeyBerie regularly extracts your information from your Facebook account. So to simply change your name on HeyBerie, log in to your Facebook account and change your name. Changing your name on Facebook will automatically update your HeyBerie account. In a situation where your name is not updated after a week, you may have no option than to delete your HeyBerie account and we recommend starting all over again.

    Note: If you delete your account, you will lose your messages as well as your matches. If you want to proceed, please follow these simple steps.

    • Login to your HeyBerie account.
    • Locate and click on your account settings
    • Locate and click on delete account.
    • Update your name on your Facebook profile.
    • Then create a new HeyBerie account.
    • HOW CAN I LOCATE MY "LAST ACTIVITY"?

      Last activity is displayed on group profiles in Social mode.

      I WANT TO EDIT MY PROFILE; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

      If you want to edit your HeyBerie profile, then follow this simple steps;

      • Login to your HeyBerie account.
      • Locate and click on the icon on the top left-hand corner of your screen.
      • Locate and click on your profile photo
      • Locate and select 'Edit'.

      From here, you can edit your bio, add your job or school information, add up to six (6) photos, and select your gender.

      HOW CAN I EDIT MY INTERESTS/PAGE LIKES?

      HeyBerie regularly extracts your information from your Facebook account. Your page likes and interests will update automatically.

      I WANT TO CHANGE MY SETTINGS; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

      Please ensure you have the latest version of HeyBerie on your device. Also, I suggest you check if the (OS) operating System on your device is up-to-date. If your device and the App is up-to-date, please sign in at a later time.

      I WANT TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

      If you need to delete your account on HeyBerie, you will have to log in through the App because you can only access this function directly on the HeyBerie App. Know that deleting your account means will automatically lose your messages, matches as well as every other information associated with your account on HeyBerie. If you want to proceed, please follow these simple steps;

      • If you haven't downloaded the App yet, please download the HeyBerie App.
      • If you have it but deleted it, please download the HeyBerie App again.
      • After this, login to your HeyBerie account.
      • Locate and click on 'App Settings' or 'Settings'
      • Locate and click on delete account. (A message will be displayed that says ' Your account was successfully deleted.')

      Please know that the moment you deleted your account, you need to create a whole new account on HeyBerie.

      Note: Please know that deleting HeyBerie App from your device doesn't delete your account. Also, if you are a subscriber on HeyBerie, know that deleting your account and/or the App does not in any way cancel your subscription on HeyBerie.

      PHOTOS

      I WILL LIKE TO ADD A PROFILE PHOTO; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

      There are two ways you can upload photos on HeyBerie. You can upload your profile photo directly from your device or from your Facebook account. If you want to proceed please follow these simple steps;

      • Login to your HeyBerie account.
      • Locate and click on the icon located on the top left-hand corner of your device screen.
      • Locate and click on your profile photo.
      • Locate and click on 'Edit.'
      • Choose any of the available space you want to add the photo.

      I CAN'T UPLOAD MY PHOTOS TO MY HEYBERIE ACCOUNT, HOW CAN I DO THIS

      Please ensure you have the latest version of HeyBerie on your device. If having issues uploading your images from Facebook, please ensure that your photos on Facebook are available to the public and not only you or in a public album. After this try uploading your pictures again using Facebook

      Also, you can move your pictures on Facebook from an album to a different album. If having issues uploading your images from your device, please ensure that your photos are accessible to HeyBerie. Know that if you deny HeyBerie access to the photos on your device it will be impossible to upload your photo. You will need to enable HeyBerie to have access to the images on your device. To do this please follow these simple steps;

    • Login to your HeyBerie account.
    • Locate and select 'Settings' on your phone, after this, find HeyBerie and enable the photo accessibility function. If the problem persists, please try logging in at a later time.
    • IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO SEND AN IMAGE TO ONLY ONE PERSON OR MY MATCHES?

      No, HeyBerie does not support picture messaging, however, you are enabled to send GIF messages to your matches.Also, you can connect your account on Instagram to your HeyBerie profile.

      HEYBERIE DISCOVERY, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

      This feature is only available on the HeyBerie App; this feature enables other subscribers to swipe you. This feature can be turned on or off. If you turn the HeyBerie Discovery feature off, your photos will not be shown to anyone in HeyBerie Discovery. This does not affect other function; you will still be able to see your matches as well as chat with them. To turn the Discovery feature on or off;

    • Go to your 'Settings' or 'Discovery Settings'.
    • Note: Subscribers that you already liked will still have the opportunity to like you back or view your profile. This means you can still get new matches even after you have turned off the HeyBerie Discovery feature.

      No, you can only send messages to subscribers you have matched with. HeyBerie only allows subscribers who have shown mutual interest in one another interchange messages.

      I AM BEING ABUSED AND I WANT TO REPORT, HOW CAN I REPORT SUCH PERSON?

      HeyBerie enables you to report subscribers you are matched with as well as those users you have not matched with. If you want to make a report, simply go to their profile page and click on the (menu icon), then click on report.

      I WANT TO FIND MORE FRIENDS BUT HEYBERIE SAYS “THERE'S NO NEW SUBSCRIBER AROUND” HOW CAN I FIND NEW FRIENDS?

      If you want to expand your search and match with new subscribers on HeyBerie, simply follow these steps;

      • Login to your HeyBerie account.
      • Locate and click on the icon located at the top left-hand corner of your device screen.
      • Locate and select 'Discovery Settings' or 'Settings'.
      • Then try and increase the age and distance range.

      If the issue persists, simply log out and log back into your HeyBerie account. If you use an Android device, simply follow these steps;

      • Login to your HeyBerie account.
      • Locate and click on to the phone settings
      • Locate 'Location',
      • Click on 'Mode',
      • Select 'High accuracy'.
      • I STILL COULD NOT FIND MORE PEOPLE AROUND ME, WHAT CAN I DO?

        This may be due to internet connection and may be a temporary issue. I would suggest you try logging in later. Just be sure you have a strong internet connection.         I WANT TO UNDO MY LAST SWIPE; HOW CAN I DO THIS?

        The Rewind feature available on HeyBerie (the “App”). This feature enables subscriber to Rewind their last swipe. To subscribe, tap the Rewind button (pink circle button) which is on the main screen and simply follow the instructions.

        HEYBERIE UNLOCK

        The HeyBerie UNLOCK feature is enabled when you pay one- off fee for license rights to use video feature on the App without restrictions.

        HOW CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?

        Once you pay your one-off fee and not happy with unlock feature on HeyBerie ( the “ App”), you have up to 28 days to get a refund using your Apple ID, your refund is handled by Apple and not HeyBerie. If you still want to proceed with the refund, please follow these simple steps;

        • Go to iTunes and select your Apple ID.
        • Click on “Purchase history”.
        • Click the Apple ID (this is your Apple ID email address).

        We recommend you to submit your request at https://getsupport.apple.com. Alternatively contact us by sending an email us an email at support@heyberie.com.

        Please send your order number when you are sending the email and we will process the request as soon as possible. To find your order number check your order confirmation email. Note: your request for will be honoured if it is within a month to the day of transaction.

        MATCHES

        I WANT TO BLOCK (UNMATCH) SOMEONE, HOW CAN I DO THIS?

        You are only allowed to block (unmatch) someone whom you have matched with. To block (unmatch) someone, please follow the steps below.

        • Go to the person's profile
        • Click on the icon located on the top right-hand corner of your device screen.
        • Locate and click on “Unmatch”.

        Note: The moment you click on the “Unmatch” button, the person will disappear from your matches and likewise, you will disappear from the person's matches. Also, both of you will not be able to interchange messages anymore.

        CAN I RE-MATCH (UNBLOCK) SOMEONE?

        No, unmatching (blocking) is a permanent action (both of you will not be able to interchange messages anymore).

        I AM BEING ABUSED AND I WANT TO REPORT THE PERSON, HOW CAN I DO THIS?

        HeyBerie enables you to report subscribers that you are matched with as well as users you have not matched with. If you want to make a report, simply go to their profile page and click on the 'Ellipsis icon' (menu icon), then click on report.

        This feature enables you to share your HeyBerie profile with anyone, this also includes when you are not on HeyBerie ( the “App”). To do this, create a username and share the (URL) link to your HeyBerie profile. If you want to create a username that you can use for your web profile (URL) link, please follow the simple steps listed below;

        • Locate and click on the profile icon located at the top of your device screen.
        • Locate and select ''Discovery Settings' or Settings'.
        • Locate and click on 'username', then type the username you preferred.

        The moment you finish these steps; anyone will be able to view you instantly whenever that person opens your (URL) link. This person will also be able to directly swipe on your profile from the HeyBerie App. Note: You can only match with subscribers who also share with you the same HeyBerie Discovery preferences.

        • Sign in to your HeyBerie account.
        • On the left-hand corner of your screen, locate and hit the icon.
        • Locate and click your profile photo.
        • Select 'Edit'
        • Scroll down and locate 'Current School' or 'Current Work' headlines
        • If you don't want the public to access this information, simply select the option to display 'None'

        To edit your job or school information on HeyBerie, simply follow this simple steps;

        • First, make sure your job or work information is up-to-date on Facebook.
        • Sign in with Facebook or you can simply choose update profile with Facebook.
        • Note: If you make a recent change to your work or school information on Facebook, this may take a few days to reflect on HeyBerie.

        I will like to have a HeyBerie badge, can I request for a verified badge?

        The verified badge is only available for some public figures brands and celebrities. However, if you want a verified badge and you don't have one, there are other methods to confirm your profile's authenticity. For instance, you can link your account on Instagram to your profile on HeyBerie. If you are a public figure and you are interested in requesting for a verified badge, please contact us by sending us an email to verified@HeyBerie.com

        Note: The fact that you sent an email doesn't guarantee that you will be granted a verified badge. If you need anything else, please send us an email.

        I have a verified badge on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Can I have one on HeyBerie?

        If you are interested in enabling the smart photo feature, please simply follow these simple steps;

        • Ensure you are logged into your HeyBerie account.
        • Locate and click the profile icon located at the top of your device screen.
        • Locate and click on your profile photo.
        • Locate and click on the “Edit info” or pencil icon.
        • Locate and click to move the smart photo slider to the right.

        Note: You must have at least 3 photos to be able to use this feature.

        • Login to your HeyBerie account.
        • Locate and select 'Settings' on your phone, after this, find HeyBerie and enable the photo accessibility function. If the problem persists, please try logging in at a later time.

        Smart Photos, what does it mean?

        CONNECTING YOUR INSTAGRAM PROFILE TO YOUR PROFILE ON HEYBE RIE

        If you are interested in connecting your Instagram profile to your HeyBerie profile, please simply follow these simple steps;

        • Ensure you are logged into your HeyBerie account.
        • Locate and click the profile icon located at the top left-hand corner of your device screen.
        • Locate and click on your profile photo.
        • Locate and click on the 'Edit'.
        • Scroll down to locate and click on 'Connect Instagram'.

        Note: If your Instagram account is set to private (i.e., only your friends can see your photos) and if you choose to connect your Instagram to your HeyBerie account, HeyBerie users will be able to see your most recent Instagram photos. This won't affect your privacy settings on Instagram.

        SWIPING THROUGH OTHER USERS (HEYBERIE DISCOVERY)

        HeyBerie Discovery, what does it mean?

        This feature is only available on the HeyBerie App; this feature enables other subscribers to swipe you. This feature can be turned on or off. If you turn the HeyBerie Discovery feature off, your photos will not be shown to anyone in HeyBerie Discovery. This does not affect other function; you will still be able to see your matches as well as chat with them. To turn the Discovery feature on or off;

        • Go to your 'Settings' or 'Discovery Settings'.

        Note: Subscribers that you already liked will still have the opportunity to like you back or view your profile. This means that you can still get new matches even after you have turned off the HeyBerie Discovery feature.

        No, you can only send messages to subscribers you have matched with. HeyBerie only allows subscribers who have shown mutual interest in one another interchange messages.

        I am being abused and I want to report, how can I report such person?

        HeyBerie enables you to report subscribers that you are matched with as well as users you have not matched with. If you want to make a report, simply go to their profile page and click on the 'Ellipsis icon' (menu icon), then click on report.

        I want to find more friends but HeyBerie says “There's no new subscriber around” How can I find new friends?

        If you want to expand your search and match with new subscribers on HeyBerie, simply follow these steps;

        • Login to your HeyBerie account.
        • Locate and click on the icon located at the top left-hand corner of your device screen.
        • Locate and select 'Discovery Settings' or 'Settings'.
        • Then try and increase the age and distance range.

        If the issue persists, simply log out and log back into your HeyBerie account. If you use an Android device, simply follow these steps;

        • Login to your HeyBerie account.
        • Locate and click on to the phone settings
        • Locate 'Location',
        • Click on 'Mode',
        • Select 'High accuracy'.

        I still could not find more people around me, what can I do?

        This may be due to internet connection and may be a temporary issue. I would suggest you try logging in at a later time. Just be sure you have a strong internet connection. In order for the GPS (location services) to pick your current location, you may have to open the Map App on your device. You should be fine as long as you haven't accidentally deleted your account and your messages and matches will also be intact.

        The '1st number' shown next to your Facebook friend's picture under the common connection feature means that you and your match are friends with this person.         This is because a HeyBerie Plus Features can only be linked with one HeyBerie account at a time. If you want to transfer your HeyBerie Plus Features to another HeyBerie account, you will have to create a new HeyBerie account, but first, ensure you permanently delete the old HeyBerie account. Please know that deleting your account means will automatically lose your messages, matches as well as every other information associated with your account on HeyBerie. If you want to proceed, please follow these simple steps;

        • If you haven't downloaded the App yet, please download the HeyBerie App.
        • If you have it but deleted it, please download the HeyBerie App again.
        • After this, log in to your Facebook account that is linked with the HeyBerie account you intend to delete.

        You are only allowed to block (unmatch) someone whom you have matched with. To block (unmatch) someone, please follow the steps below.

        • Go to the person's profile
        • SClick on the icon located on the top right-hand corner of your device screen.
        • Locate and click on “Unmatch”.

        Note: The moment you click on the “Unmatch”button, the person will disappear from your matches and likewise, you will disappear from the person's matches. Also, both of you will not be able to interchange messages anymore.

        CAN I RE-MATCH (UNBLOCK) SOMEONE?

        No, unmatching (blocking) is a permanent action (both of you will not be able to interchange messages anymore).

        You can invite friends instantly to go out as well as match with the other groups who are also going out the moment you have unlocked the HeyBerie Social. This feature also enables your friends on HeyBerie Social to see you as well as invite you to go.

        WEB PROFILE

        WEB PROFILE, WHAT IS THE MEANING?

        This feature enables you to share your HeyBerie profile with anyone, this also includes when you are not on HeyBerie App. To do this, create a username and share the (URL) link to your HeyBerie profile. If you want to create a username that you can use for your web profile (URL) link, please follow the simple steps listed below;

        • Locate and click on the profile icon located at the top of your device screen.
        • Locate and select ''Discovery Settings' or Settings'.
        • Locate and click on 'username', then type the username you preferred.

        The moment you finish these steps; anyone will be able to view you instantly whenever that person opens your (URL) link.
